Did AQA meet/exceed the Buyer's expectations?
CLOSING THE LOOP
1. AQA Reviews Product Specifications with Buyer

AQA works with the Buyer to ensure requirements are completely defined. The prior sourcing experiences of both the Buyer and AQA in related emerging economies are taken into account.

2. AQA Conducts Search for Candidate Suppliers in China

Access to comprehensive industry data-bases as well as a network of informal information sources enable AQA to identify and locate potential suppliers. Data on supplier companies is analyzed to screen out unsuitable candidates.

3. AQA Communicates Requirements to Suppliers and Conducts Audits

AQA provides clear specifications in Chinese to the suppliers, and determines mutual interests. If relevant National Standards are being used, AQA prepares translation of key parts into the Buyer's language. AQA applies world-standard auditing procedures to the suppliers' existing production and support systems, to confirm capability.

4. AQA Presents Supply Proposal to the Buyer

AQA selects suppliers, operating with multiple sources whenever appropriate. AQA monitors preparation of initial samples, and submits quotations with samples for evaluation.

When outstanding issues are resolved, the Buyer awards a Purchase Order.

8. AQA Arranges Shipping and Handles Border-Crossing Formalities

AQA provides full-service logistic support, including insurance, freight forwarding, export licenses, and customs clearance. This enables AQA to accept full responsibility for on-time delivery. All financing is based on the Buyer's documentary credit.

7. AQA Confirms Final Inspection Procedures, and Packaging

AQA ensures compliance with all labeling, inspection and documentation requirements. Packaging and piece-count are checked for specification conformance, and each container is inspected before loading. Then AQA releases products for containerization.

6. AQA Monitors Production

Quality Control plans (Step #5) are implemented as an overlay to the suppliers' pre-existing QC system. AQA inspectors have received extensive in-house training, based on case studies as well as modern QC texts and principles. Samples are brought from the production line to the AQA Test Lab for examination.

5. AQA Establishes Quality Control Plans

Based on the Audits (Step #3), AQA develops a Quality Control plan specific to the needs of each selected supplier, and in cooperation with each supplier management. While based on the standards of IS09000 certification, each plan must be realistic and feasible to implement in the timeframe of the order.
